Sample space (표본공간) : 일어날 수 있는 모든 경우의 수 event (사건) : 표본공간의 부분집합, 발생 가능한 특정 사건의 경우들 Probability (확률) : 모든 사건이 일어날 경우의 수에 대한 특정 사건이 발생할 경우의 수(빈도)의 비율 하지만 할당된 가중치가 다르면 그를 고려해서 다시 계산해야함. 예를 들어, 짝수가 나올 확률이 홀수가 나올 확률의 두배인 주사위가 있다면 단순히 1/6이 아니라 짝수는 그만큼 경우의 수에 2배를 해줘서 표본공간을 재구성 해야한다는 것.
